The concept of this album cover was to combine youthful energy with an element of sophistication. The treatment of the photo with an oversaturated color scheme and implied diagonal motion is meant to imply the vibrant and lively nature of the music, while the photo itself has an air of sophistication resulting from the elegant pose of the subject and their choice of intrument.
The typography is simple but visually interesting. The title repeated in the background provides a texture and fills what would otherwise be an empty background in order to provide balance and unity in the composition.
